Ferrari F12 berlinetta

The F12 is an unique supercar as it provides the comfort of a GT car but also the power and agility of a supercar. It has replaced the Ferrari 599 which was bigger than the F12 and also regarded as one of the best supercars. The F12 is lighter, smaller yet more powerful than the Ferrari 599 that it replaces. The Ferrari F12 makes an insane 740 bhp and an equally impressive 690 Nm of torque. The V12 is and will be part of the Ferrari DNA. Performance of the F12 is just mind blowing with a 0-100 km/h time of just 3.1 seconds.
For all this power to be contained and used well, you need a F1 dual clutch transmission. Brakes are important and  you need high levels of stopping power and the F12 has new carbon-ceramic braking system which reduces brake fade. You might think that this is a big V12 supercar which is rear drive- a recipe for scary handling but no Ferrari has made magic and it just finds grip everywhere.
After some hard driving the interior will be a heaven to you as it is luxurious and built with exceptional material and of course it is bespoke. The design is futuristic and just like the 458 the F12 features all the major controls on the steering wheel plus the beautifully finished paddles behind the steering are just great to use.
Ferrari says that you will want to have your hands on the steering for all the time and thus all controls are placed on it. The manettino switch helps the driver to adjust various settings on the car to match the kind of surface you are on and the grip levels and is one of the most important controls in the car. Each of the modes modify the car for the surface that it is being driven on so that the driver can extract the maximum out of the car. The F12 is also quite spacious and with a 320 litre boot it is also quite practical.

The lines on the F12 are timeless and it looks much more compact and more beautiful than the 599. The front is sharp and the rear has the classic Ferrari styling with the two circular LED lights which is a bit like the Ferrari V12 supercars of the past. Ferrari says that it is not about design but science as everything in the new F12 has been designed to help make the car go really fast. The big grille at the front helps in cooling down the massive V12 and the electronically controlled guide vanes at the side help cool the brakes.
The F12 will come in May 2013 and of course will be hugely expensive but that will not matter as this is a stunning and true Ferrari- thats what we want.
